Honouring Our Armed Forces in Telford and Shropshire

Today, on Armed Forces Day, we at Ex-Forces to Community CIC proudly join others across the country in recognising and thanking our serving personnel, veterans, reservists, cadets, and their families.

Your dedication, courage, and service to our nation are deeply appreciated. As an organisation founded by ex-forces personnel, we understand the challenges that can come with life after service — and we’re here to help ensure no one faces that journey alone.

In Telford and Shropshire, there is a strong network of support for the Armed Forces community. We work closely with:

• Telford & Wrekin Council’s Armed Forces Covenant – providing housing, welfare, leisure discounts, and community support.

• Shropshire Council’s Armed Forces Support – connecting veterans and families with local help and guidance.

• Local Armed Forces Community Cafes – offering a welcoming place to meet and connect.

• Shropshire Community Leisure Trust – giving free gym and swimming sessions to serving personnel and veterans today.
